The pastel palette really does evoke that Versailles feel—I used the palest pink for some rose stitches and the color shift against linen is gorgeous. It’s my first time working with Alger silk and the loose ply gives a subtle sheen that regular floss just can't match.

The loose twist on this silk thread makes it glide through fabric like nothing I've used before, and the pale pinks and blues really do feel like they came out of a royal bedroom. Took a deep breath before cutting into it because it's so fine, but it's held up beautifully through a few hours of stit
