The downloadable PDFs are a lifesaver for practicing on scrap fabric first, and the iron-on transfers themselves are surprisingly crisp on dark denim. I’ve already used the Naoshi birds on a jacket and the Jim Woodring one on a tote, and both came out exactly like the pictures.

The iron-on transfers went on smoothly and held up through a full wash cycle without peeling, which surprised me. The Hobotopia designs have that quirky vintage feel I was hoping for, and the PDF download meant I could start tracing extras right away.
