The 8 1/2" x 11" sheets are a great size—I fit three songbird designs onto one pillowcase without any trouble. The iron-on transfer worked exactly as described, and the included embroidery basics got me started even though I'm a beginner.

The designs transferred cleanly onto my cotton tote with just a firm press, and the included stitch guide made it easy to fill in the little branches with backstitch. Five sheets is plenty to test a few color combos, and each one peeled off the backing without any tearing.

The instructions on each sheet made my first iron-on project completely foolproof—I just followed the quick embroidery tips and my napkins actually look professional. Five different patterns gave me plenty of variety for a whole set of gifts.
